There are, I think, worse ways to spend a Sunday. I spent mine preparing our last grapes for juicing, sitting out on the terrace, looking out over the village, under the same sun, the same blue sky. Again, not a bad way to spend a Sunday. But I envy you your river.
So lovely. A wonderfully flat bike path is a real bonus, you get to see so much more when you don't have to struggle up hill. I'll bet it's a very special feeling for you to get outdoors and do something that makes you take long breaths of fresh air.
