Listening to this poem brings tears to my eyes. It is so beautiful and full of hope and the promises of spring.

So timely for me, Sabine. The young man looks so much like my R and has his spirit. R's father was Irish. After listening to the two young people and "Seed," I went looking for more from Paula Meehan and was moved again and again, especially by her reading from a poem by Eavan Boland:
