Looking out of our kitchen window into the wet and messy garden.
In about four weeks time, R said, trees and leaves and budding lilac.

    And for the wordunendliche yesterday.

    A sign of spring here is the arrival of the pairs of wood ducks. I've seen them this week. I can hear the Red-winged Blackbirds singing right now. There is a heavy cloud cover here today.
