Oh yes, I did, one of the reasons I wanted to go. Also because James Joyce lived there for many years and his traces are everywhere. As for Rilke, Duino Castle and the surrounding area is a must. Do go, it is a unique place!
I read the Jan Morris book years and years ago. Must re-read it, and these photos are giving me a great big nudge to do so. Plus I've always fascinated by border areas and the mix of cultures.
I would like to go there. Have you read the book by Jan Morris about it?
