it is easy if you try

Let’s remember that today is a day and just that—we don’t need to label it as good or bad or productive or unproductive. Here we are, we’re just being. And we may have more or less responsibilities today, but let’s be gentle and proceed moment to moment.

Seriously, today feels like spring is on its way.

I'd never heard of Adam Holmes, but I really like what I hear.

Reminds me a tiny bit of the young John Martyn, not this piece but check out some the other songs online.

And I don't say this lightly because I am a dedicated John Martyn fan.

Yes, I love John Martyn, and saw him live a couple of times in the 1970s. Did you see that BBC documentary about him some years back? Cussed old sod — and a remarkable musician, capable of weaving many strands. I often found his recordings didn't do him justice. And why do so many of the greats have that self-destructive tendency? Oh, don't answer that! We could be here all night.

I saw him live a few times as well, one very memorable concert in a barn in Somerset in spring 1980.
Thanks for mentioning that documentary. I just found it on youtube.
