. . . for those who choose to awake to collapse, it becomes their duty to put their care and attention into creating spaces and communities of spiritual hope, stability and resilience.
An island of sanity is not a sanctuary; it is where we go to contribute.
Margaret Wheatley
Find your place on the planet. Dig in, and take responsibility from there.

I cherish these two quotes and will now use them as my excuse to post a load of garden pictures, all taken after a heavy rain.

I'm especially fond of bedlam:)
ReplyDeleteYour garden is beautiful and everything is growing so well. I don't have blueberries, but I am growing something called haskap berries, not sure if they grow in Germany. I already harvested them and each year, I'm getting more which is lovely.
As I'm typing this, Jack keeps talking to me, only half dressed. Now he's on the stairs and still talking:) Now he's upstairs and still talking to me.
I planted raspberries a few years ago and they're doing fantastic but the variety I bought leans over, so I had to prop them up as you have done. For some reason, the variety that my mum had stood up by themselves.
Take care and enjoy the summer, as much as possible. Any news on the MRI?
Your garden is like a fairytale garden. Magical, mystical, simply gorgeous and such abundance! Is there anything more beautiful than a garden after a rain?
ReplyDeleteI love your garden. So much packed into it. And I especially love the wild covid patch. Taking care of our own little part of the world is sometimes all we can do.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - I enjoyed seeing bedlam - such a great word. I'm going to google it and decipher its origina now. Thanks for sharing images of the bounty! Kim in PA (USA)
ReplyDeleteBeauty all around you! Covid garden area is interesting…the first one I’ve seen. There may well be many!
