We woke to a misty rainy day, summer is definitely over.
Just the day for a good damp walk after breakfast. Hiding under my big hood, I visited the local antifa memorial site. To recap: as we surely all know, antifa stands for anti-fascist and just in case there's still any doubt, below, here is a press photo of antifa fighters landing at the beaches of Normandy, France in 1944. I don't know whether I would be able to write this blog post today without them.
So today - like most days - I walked down to the river and looked at the water and the hills and also at this little model bridge a local business man erected in the small park.

Yes! Just like "liberal" and "progressive" and other words that the right-wingers have demonized, "antifa" is a GOOD thing!

ReplyDeleteThings are just getting worse and worse over here. The imbecile supposedly in charge over here has declared a non-existent organization a terrorist organization and has declared the Democrat party/democrats the enemy of the people and has all but called for their assassination. The government is shut down and the House republicans are on vacation. It's beginning to feel like they have no intention of ever reopening it which is of course a major goal for Project 2025. This entire country was antifa in the 1940s. What the fuck happened.
